Design paper Arctic the Volume celebrates what’s creative and different

The Arctic paper quality is a natural choice for many designers in their work. One reason is the paper’s environmental profile combined with its excellent suitability for creative design projects. Arctic the Volume is a FSC-certified* paper with the motto Celebrating what’s different. One highly creative and different project is the fascinating book of photography entitled Kaleidoscope, for which Arctic the Volume 150 g/m2 from Arctic Paper has been used.

The Kaleidoscope book of photography is by Swedish photographer Patrik Andersson, a resident of New York, who has photographed many well-known faces during his 25-year career including Karl Lagerfeld, Bill Clinton, Kate Hudson and Jennifer Lopez.

Kaleidoscope is a beautiful, artistic and personal book with many changing extremes. The photographs in the book are not in chronological order, and the name of the book, Kaleidoscope, also stems from this disarray and the spiritual spectrum conveyed by Patrik Andersson.

The matt, coated paper Arctic the Volume gives a natural paper feel combined with excellent print quality. The matt surface has contributed to the unique print quality which enhances the photographs throughout the book. Arctic the Volume is an FSC-certified*, high-bulk paper available in grammages of 90 g/m2 to 715 g/m2.

“Properties such as high bulk, opacity and stiffness make Arctic the Volume suitable for high-quality printed books in four-colour, advertising material and magazines that require a special effect. We’re also proud that Arctic the Volume is certified in accordance with FSC,” says Hans Karlander, Marketing Director at Arctic Paper.

By using an FSC-certified* paper for different kinds of printed material, advertising agencies and designers can take responsibility for the environment without detracting from their creativity. Making a small, but conscious choice, can have long-term positive effects for the environment.

Limited copies of the Kaleidoscope book of photography are available. Read more about the book and about Arctic the Volume at www.arcticpaper.com.
