Arctic the Volume starts a family and changes name

Arctic Paper is now further developing the popular high-bulk design paper Arctic the Volume. Another two qualities are being presented later this autumn, both with the same good properties. At the same time Arctic the Volume is changing name to Arctic Volume White. The new family goes by the umbrella name of Arctic Volume and comes in three different shades. All three qualities are FSC certified.

Arctic Volume White is a big seller with fans across Europe. The paper is highly bulky and has a matt, coated surface with a natural feel, while also offering optimal printing properties. Arctic Volume White is also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council, an increasingly important factor. Arctic Paper has now taken all the popular characteristics of Arctic Volume White and incorporated them in two new paper qualities: Arctic Volume HighWhite and Arctic Volume Ivory. Arctic Volume is therefore now available in three high quality, high-bulk versions in three different shades.

“Thanks to the new qualities our customers now have a wider range to choose from. Arctic Volume HighWhite gives unique image reproduction with high contrast in print, while Ivory conveys a luxurious impression with extraordinary readability. Different papers send out completely different signals, and this is certainly evident in the Arctic Volume range. The fact that Ivory is produced using no optical brightening agents (OBAs) whatsoever is particularly nice, as Arctic Paper has always been at the forefront in its environmental work,” says Stefan Jeansson, project manager for the new Arctic Volume qualities.

Arctic Volume HighWhite is by far the whitest matt coated paper on the market and is ideal for creating vivid contrasts for good image reproduction, or when a strong sense of whiteness is needed. Arctic Volume Ivory is the cream shaded paper with first-class environmental properties, and is perfect as a paper that conveys a warmer feel. The product contains no optical brightening agents (OBAs). All Arctic Volume qualities are FSC certified, which is a basic requirement among more and more paper customers.

Arctic Volume White has previously been used in productions for Kenzo, Nokia and Chanel, among others.
