The adventures of Hergé, printed on Munken.
If you’re in Paris this autumn, don’t miss the opportunity to learn all about Hergé. The exhibition runs from 28th of September 2016 until 15th of January 2017. Georges Remi, also known as Hergé, is often considered the father of European comic strip. The Belgian cartoonist is best known for The Adventures of TinTin. Today Hergé is considered to be one of the greatest contemporary authors, with 250 million books sold in over 100 translations.
The choice of Munken Design for the exhibition catalog is perfectly consistent. The book is divided in two. The first part is historic and shows pictures and drawings. Printed on Munken Pure Rough 120 g/m² and 150 g/m², the illustrations appear as originals.
The second part is very colorful, for the younger public, and is printed on brand new extra white Munken Kristall 150 g/m².
The Hergé exhibition is collaboration between The Hergé Museum in Belgium, la Réunion des Musées Nationaux-Grand Palais in Paris, France and the publisher éditions Moulinsart.
