Arctic Paper at the Gothenburg Book Fair 2026
For the fourth year in a row, Arctic Paper is a proud partner of the Gothenburg Book Fair. In 2026, we continue our commitment to the printed book by highlighting one simple but essential truth: every great book begins with the right paper.
This year's concept, It starts with the right paper, puts paper at the centre of the story. The concept highlights how paper contributes to readability, image reproduction, durability and the overall reading experience.
With Munken book papers at its core, Arctic Paper presents a series of concepts inspired by familiar publishing genres, illustrating the role paper plays in shaping different types of books and their reading experience.
The white stand returns as a calm and distinctive space within the visual energy of the fair. It represents both the blank sheet and the beginning of every creative journey.
The Paper School also returns, presenting information about sustainability, origin, production, environmental work and the physical properties of paper.
Proud Partner of the Sjöjungfrun 2026
Arctic Paper is also proud to continue its partnership with the Sjöjungfrun Literary Prize, awarded annually at the Gothenburg Book Fair. The 2026 prize goes to Jamaica Kincaid, one of the most influential literary voices of our time.
We see literature – and the high-quality printed book – as a vital part of an open and vibrant society. Our participation in the Gothenburg Book Fair reflects our commitment to the printed book and to the role of paper in carrying stories, ideas and knowledge forward.
