Once again, Arctic Paper is a proud partner of the Gothenburg Book Fair 2025. The event offers a valuable opportunity to highlight the important role of paper in the act of creation and storytelling – in both words and images. This partnership is part of our long-term commitment to elevate and showcase the value of the quality book and the creative power of paper in an increasingly digital world.
This year, Arctic Paper turns the spotlight on the blank sheet of paper – a symbol of where creativity begins. By focusing on the analogue process, we want to remind people of paper’s role as the starting point for ideas, stories, and creative journeys, whether the final result is a novel, a children’s book, or even a building.
This year’s concept – a tribute to paper
The concept of our stand — Paper Power — is a tribute to paper and its unique ability to bring every book to life. The theme From a Premium Paper to a Quality Book captures both insight and inspiration. At Munken’s Paper School, visitors can explore how paper shapes the entire reading experience.
Here, the fundamentals of paper knowledge are brought to life, with a special focus on how material choices influence both the visual and tactile experience of a truly well-made book. In addition, four creators are featured, sharing their personal reflections on paper and their creative processes. At the heart of it all is the notebook — the timeless symbol of the blank page and the power to bring stories to life.
Proud Partner of the Sjöjungfrun 2025
Arctic Paper is once again a proud partner of the Sjöjungfrun Literary Prize, awarded annually at the Gothenburg Book Fair. This year’s prize goes to a powerful literary voice – Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, perhaps best known for her acclaimed novel Half of a Yellow Sun (2006). With this partne
rship, we wish to celebrate authors who move, inspire, and engage.

We see literature – and the high-quality printed book – as a vital part of an open and vibrant society, and we’re honoured to help carry this important tradition forward.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie will receive the award at the Gothenburg Book Fair on Saturday, 27 September 2025.
